Later, it was replaced by stainless steel pipe, and the situation was all right at once. ​
Especially 316L and 904L, they are particularly resistant to chloride and acidic environment. Once, the 904L pipeline was used in the transportation system for treating high-concentration nitric acid. It has been running for almost three years, and there has not been a leak. Moreover, the inner wall of the pipeline is not easy to hang materials, and it is also convenient to clean up, which not only ensures the purity of raw materials, but also reduces the maintenance cost. Hygiene is a big thing for people who make food and drink. I visited a milk factory before, and their production line used stainless steel tubes from beginning to end. The person in charge told me that the biggest advantage of this material is that it "doesn't react with food", and its surface is smooth, so it can be cleaned with a high-pressure water gun and won't hide bacteria. ​
Like the beer and red wine we drink, if there is a little impurity in the pipeline during transportation, the taste will change completely. So they all use polished 304 or 316 stainless steel tubes, and the inner wall is bare, which can not only ensure the taste of the drink, but also prevent the growth of bacteria. I have also seen a juice factory that used 316 stainless steel pipes to transport lemon juice with strong acidity. Nowadays, architects like to use stainless steel pipes more and more, not only because it is strong, but also because of its high value-silvery white appearance, which shows a modern sense whether it is used as an indoor railing or an outdoor curtain wall. Before I participated in the construction of a commercial complex, the facade was decorated with stainless steel pipes, which was resistant to wind and rain and not easy to show old. After several years, it was still bright. ​
There are also stair handrails in the community and landscape frames in the park, and many of them also use stainless steel pipes. A friend of mine who makes auto parts said that the 409 stainless steel pipe they used was installed in the car and ran for hundreds of thousands of kilometers, and the exhaust pipe was still good. ​
The aviation field is even stricter. The fuel pipes and hydraulic pipes of aircraft are all made of high-strength stainless steel pipes, such as 321 and 347, which are not only resistant to high temperature, but also have extremely high mechanical strength. I visited the aviation industrial park before, and saw engineers testing the pressure resistance of stainless steel pipes, and adding the pressure to a value far exceeding the normal working value. In the medical and pharmaceutical industries, the most important thing is "precision" and "cleanliness". The surgical instruments, infusion tubes in hospitals and drug delivery pipes in pharmaceutical factories all use stainless steel tubes. I know a friend who works as a production manager in a pharmaceutical factory. The stainless steel pipes used in their production lines are as smooth as mirrors, just to prevent the drugs from remaining and polluting during transportation. ​
Moreover, stainless steel pipes are particularly easy to sterilize, and whether it is high-temperature steam sterilization or chemical sterilization, its performance will not be affected.
